Ingredients

  • 250g spare ribs (chopped into approx. 2 cm)
  • 10g fermented black bean
  • 15g soy sauce
  • 800g water
  • 250g pumpkin (cut into 3cm thick)
  • 15g spring onion

Steps

  1. . Place spare ribs, fermented black bean and soy sauce into a large bowl, mix well and set aside for 30 minutes.
  2. Place water into mixing bowl, place pumpkin and seasoned spare ribs into a dish. Place Varoma dish into position, steam spare ribs 40-50 min/Varoma/speed 1. Check to ensure spare ribs are cooked. Steaming time can pro-long 10 min if necessary. Serve hot.
