Thermomix Hong Kong Basic Cooking Class Recipe and Step-by-step Guide to make Steamed Rice with Thai Basil

Ingredients

  • 1200g water
  • 300g rice
  • 15g dried mushroom (soaked)
  • 150g carrot (peeled and chopped)
  • 20g oil
  • 100g king oyster mushroom (diced)
  • 20g fresh soya bean
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1Tbsp soy sauce
  • 35g freshThai basil leaves (chopped)
  • ¼ tsp sesame oil

Steps

  1. Place water into mixing bowl, place simmering basket with rice into mixing bowl. Cook 18min/100°C/speed 2. Use spatula to remove simmering basket, transfer into Thermoserver to keep warm. Empty mixing bowl.
  2. Add mushroom and carrot into mixing bowl, chop 5 sec/speed 5. Use spatula to scrap the ingredients to the base.
  3. Add oil, cook 4 min/120°C/speed
  4. Add king oyster mushroom and soya bean, cook 4 min/100°C/speed
  5. Add salt, soy sauce and basil, cook 2 min/100°C/speed mix with cooked rice and sesame oil, serve immediately.
