Vegan Burger Steak

Mix enoki mushrooms, cucumbers, oats, eggs, and tofu with seasonings, then divide them into several round pieces; fry them in a frying pan, and go with bread and lettuce. It’s super easy and delicious! Give it a try!

Ingredients

160g enoki mushrooms, cut into three sections, washed and squeezed dry
2 cucumbers, about 160g, seeded, diced, about 2 cm
1250g instant oats
1 egg, about 60g
50g hard tofu, squeezed dry
30g soy sauce paste
15g sesame paste
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp brown sugar
¼ tsp ground black pepper
a little oil

Steps

  1. Put enoki mushrooms, cucumbers, oats, eggs, tofu, soy sauce, sesame paste, salt, brown sugar and black pepper into mixing bowl, mix 30 sec/speed 3, grease both hands with oil, grab a little of the mixture (about 10 pieces), press it into a circle, and place it on a plate for later use.
  2. Heat a frying pan, add a little oil, add in the veggie hamburger steak, fry both sides until golden brown, serve with burger bread and lettuce.

Tips

  • The meat filling can be divided into small balls, flattened into a flat shape, wrapped in plastic wrap and placed in the refrigerator to freeze, and then thawed slightly before cooking.
  • If the filling is too wet, you can add oatmeal and gradually blend to your satisfaction.
  • Cut the cucumber into sections, put into the mixing bowl and chop into small pieces with 3-5 sec/speed 4.

Variety

  • You can also cook this hamburger steak by steaming, put 500g of water into the mixing bowl, put the veggie burger steak into the steaming tray covered with baking, steam for 20 minutes/Varoma/speed 1, and enjoy.
  • Serve with cheese slices, fried eggs, tomato slices, cucumber slices with hamburgers.
